Antique and beautiful double bed entirely in carved and sculpted solid walnut with landscapes and figures of sphinxes on both sides of the footboard.
The footboard of the bed has an extraordinary carving depicting a scene with Mount Fuji in the background and two sphinxes on either side
The masthead is a landscape probably depicting an ancient wooden bridge over Tokyo.
The cymatium of the headboard, on the other hand, features a beautiful carving with floral and naturalistic motifs.
