Restored the statue of the Immaculate Conception
26 October 2018 reported to the ancient splendor the statue of the Immaculate Conception in the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Largo Luciani.
The statue that was preserved in the Scacco-Vaccaro museum, adjacent to the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie is a statue of the 700 'prioritized invoice without a signature but probably created by a Salerno craftsman.
The statue has returned to shine thanks to the commitment of the Club Inner Wheel Salerno Carf, in collaboration with the Foundation of the Salerno Community and was presented to Salernitans on 26 October 2018 during a solemn ceremony.
The restoration work has been entirely curated by the restorer Daniela Mellone and by the antiques company "Vassallo Antiques" by Montecorvino Rovella. Being the work for 80% destroyed I must proceed with the removal of surface deposits, an ecological anti-rotating treatment, cleaning, grouting, brush repainting, pictorial integration and satin paint.
